It seemed kind of pointless to me. What's he really solving by doing this?

I'm sure my opinion isn't popular, but here goes anyway.

RLM is the very toxicity that the internet doesn't need.

They built their name on knocking down the Star Wars Prequels (ingenious. ) Now, they make money, by knocking things down and being a lightning rod for fanboy rage.

How about using your resources and creativity to, you know, create something? Make something that delights people. Life is short, so spread some joy. This represents everything I dislike about modern fandom. I never liked Plinkett's reviews, but I am a diehard Star Wars fan. I hate having to be an apologist for that, but that's the world in which we live, thanks to this.

Now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm off to post something cool in my "Celebrating 20 Years of Phantom Menace Thread"

No matter what the reasons or intentions were, I think this will fall into the destroying Beatles records category, in the history books.
