    My Blood Pressure

My home unit has almost the exact readings as the reading from my personal physician...

That’s what walking does. To think that before I started a walking regiment a few years ago...my BP reading used to be as high as 178/100 with a 98 heart rate pulse at one point, that was a wake up call.

Sometimes my heart rate pulse goes as low as 64, but that’s when I’m walking 24 miles a week, which I’m not right now, as I’m chilling in the Winter...it’s cold here in California, 60 degrees...

        Ok, smartass!

Congrats, though. You’ve really saved yourself.

That's pretty amazing, Hec. I'm sure you adjusted your diet as well to obtain such a godlike BP. I'm on BP meds for mine but am working towards lowering with exercise. Great job doing this and sticking with it.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Oh, Still love to eat good, but I choose my spots. When I’m not walking, I try not to go over 1500 calories per day. When I walk, I can go to 2000 calories. And when I super walk, meaning 8 miles in one day, I’ll go 3000 calories.

I eat lots of veggies, chicken, lean meat, protein shake, nuts and grains, eggs, fruits, and drink lots of water.

But I do have a free day once a week, usually Saturday or Sunday, where I’ll eat anything, burgers, pizza, burritos, thick ribeye steaks, Americanized Chinese food, fried chicken, ice cream, beer, sodas, all that evil stuff, lol.

I’m still big and husky. I do lift weights too. My objective is not to be thin, just healthy.
