Italian Stallion vs The Southside Slugger

One Mego line I'd have killed for as a kid was Rocky. As a die-hard boxing fan, Rocky movies were the main reason I made my mego's box each other as a child. After seeing Rachel post a Clubber custom on FB, I said "I have to do that!"

The heads are from the 1983 he-man style Rocky figures. The bodies are new Mego neck style which accommodate the heads fairly well. Special thanks to Rob T here.

The trunks are commissioned from Rachel and Rocky's robe is from Jakks Rocky line (fits perfect). Chad provided the "Rocky" decal on his trunks. A real team effort and couldn't be happier with the end result.

You beat me to the punch! Those do look really good. I am trying something a little different with the body, but hoping they look half as good as yours. You should keep going with these, but stop before you get to Tommy Morrison:-)

Ha, thanks. I'm on the hunt for the Apollo to this collection right now, for the right price. Not sure what head I could use for a Drago but I'd use a Zica body for him for the size.

These are fantastic. I love the franchise and it would definitely be the no.1 license Mego could acquire, but I'm guessing likeness rights are obscene. With a little putty work I think Boss Hogg could be a good Pauley base.
