Ray-Line Star Trek Tracer Gun Sell Sheets

Not only did I have a lot of fun with these as a kid (probably still disks in the carpet of my old house) but as a teen, I would trade the abundant overstock found in every toy store in Canada during the 1980s to trade for cool toys with US dealers. I love you Rayline!

I don't own any of these toys now, heck I'd settle for the extra ammo...

I do not remember the rifle but I wish that i did, it looks fantastic.

I remember those well! They ended up everywhere... behind cabinets, sofas, beds. Great fun.

        Never encountered the rifle either.

The discs were great. Fun flight, the way they moved.

My oldest brother kept one of these under his bed and shot me and my other bro whenever he wanted us out of his room. Depending on where it hit you, those little things didn;t tickle. LOL

These were available well into the 80s. I used to love these things... truly dangerous. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

I also loved how it was the weapon of choice in Madman Comics from Mike Allred back in the mid 90s. That was a great homage.

Our TRU opened in 1985 and they had stacks of these. Eventually, i bought them all because toy dealers in the US would give me $10 credit for everyone i sent. At a cost of $5 each and even given the postage, the US exchange rate had me paying half price for Mego figures.

I loved those when I was a kid. And it would appear there is not even a "Warning: don't shoot your eye out" on the front of the package! We really grew up before safety was invented...

It feels like versions of those guns were everywhere back then. Those discs certainly were.

I remember getting a non-branded version of the gun for Christmas. It was great fun but I probably lost all of the discs by the time spring rolled around.

I still have this somewhere. I don't remember if the card was branded Star Trek.

Back in the day Intergalactic Trading Company always used to advertise a Star Trek Tracer Rifle for sale for a laughable amount of money -- like over $1000 I think

I had the pistol and got many, many hours of play out of that thing. Toys that could inflict a slight bit of pain without lasting damage were highly-valued in my neighborhood.

                              Loved those guns and amo.
I had those discs everywhere in the house and yard.
