By the way, congrats Dave on taking part in this! That's cool to see.

Gee thanks! Although I didn't do the guantlets, I did the suit. I looked all over the place for material that even closely resembled the Gorn material for the proto. None could be found, so we went with that. I do appreciate constructive comments though, so wouldn't mind hearing what else you don't like about the outfit. Crappy and cheap don't really offer suggestions for improvement.

      Hey Dave,

I have examined the original Gorn Screen Used Costume and can tell you it's Gold Lame that has the pattern stenciled on.

Feel free to email me if you have questions, I'd love to help.

      I hope this helps.

Ya know...that's not a bad Idea! Especially if You added some Cast-A-Way LJN style Arms underneath the Body Suit(the Suit should at least cover His upper half, the bottom has new Sculpts), to bulk Him up a bit! Good call!

Awesome! I take a little hiatus from this place only to come back and get nice surprises.

I wish the museum originals trading pages were on the upswing but this is nice to see none the less.

I like the smaller body too. Looks more like the original. (although one could always customize it onto the Hulk body version if they really wanted). The rotocast vinyl head makes it more Mego than anything for me. Silver eyes will be a plus. But it looks great.

Seeing the new Leg's Sculpt, really does make a difference...I feel better now. Although...I still plan to make another Custom one.

the retro mego is for classic series and the classic mego is for the episode enterprise .

                Look at these 2 episodes

Love the new pic-- you've maintained the Mego style very well. Are the ankles articulated or is the lower leg all one piece?

Knees and ankles are the same thing? How do you get around?

Don't know about this one, but James' Gorn feet for a Hulk body were not articulated, neither were the wrists on his hands. From what I can see on this pic the ankles look not articulated

Sorry...missed that part! But...I'm betting the Ankles don't move.

The legs were sculpted by James Brady using his earlier hulk-body ones
as the model. We were interested in getting as close to his custom Gorn
as possible without tooling a new body.
