I didn't realize it till fairly recently but the first comic book I ever remember reading he drew. Can't recall the issue number but its Fantastic Four where they fight Salems Seven during their debut. George defines an entire generation of comicdom and his work will remain legendary. I daresay his legacy is as rich and meaningful as Kirbys. In my mind he is on comic book Mt. Rushmore.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

He's been huge in that community for decades (along with his wife).

He's even created superheroine characters and directed videos, often judging costume contests at these events.

I'm glad Mego Meet doesn't fall on this weekend this year! I guess I'd better get there early to get on his commission list (if he has one).

I didn't know many artist names when I was a kid, but Perez was one of a handful that I remember. As an Avengers guy, this cover sticks out in my childhood memory. I remember thinking I had to scrape up the 30 cents to get it-

Yes even with all those 8-legged ants it's an awesome cover.

Ed...look for updates on his facebook page. I think he will be announcing signups for show commissions. They will be severely limited. I think the number was something like 5 or 6 per show that he is doing. I was fortunate in the past to get 2 sketches done by George at 2 separate shows a year apart.
