The head is actually Fonzie (chosen for his prominent nose and deep eye sockets) with his hair chopped off. Re-sculpted with modeling plastic to make it a bald head. Covered the head with white material to make the bandages, but had to paint the head all white first so darker colors wouldn't show through the thin material.

The costume is hand sewn using jersey/slinky knit similar to what Mego and FTC use. I was planning to kind of do a "how I made it" thread and started taking pictures at certain steps in the process, but I was actually quite sick that day and stopped the photography as I got to making the pants so I could just finish him. There are a few pics of making the head and top of the figure, though, if anyone is interested.
