While I'm not a big Marilyn fan, I have noticed that since the announcement of her and Farrah, the Museum mailbox has been jammed with queries on how to get them. Also, people in my friend circle who i would not call Mego collectors, are really excited about them. Mego is broadening their appeal it seems.


Aestethically I think the packaging and the way the figures are now being displayed is really great.

Can't wait to see what's new in Trek and other licensed properties in 2019.

Yeah, MEGO is really upping their game lately. I know I was pretty critical of them initially, but owning the Gorn and a few others has changed my opinion drastically. I'm waiting on a 14" Superman to show up.

I am curious where these will be displayed, considering the broadened crossover appeal. At least at Target, these just seem to be in the wrong location, especially when you add in figures of Farrah and Marilyn. A Mego wall/section with Funko and NECA would be nice, but I bet that doesn't come cheap! If these hit Walmart, maybe they will end up in the aisle with their Mattel Harry Potter figures, which also have crossover appeal.

Either way, it's good to hear that these licenses have garnered more eyes to the Mego 2.0 effort.

I agree: Wayne, Bogart, Garland, an Astaire and Rogers set or Laurel and Hardy, Brando or Dean, Groucho Marx or Chaplin--stuff like that would be awesome.

Licensing rights might be an issue for some classic film stars, I know I would like to see John Wayne in both
western outfit and military outfits.

Just noticed on the Target website that she comes with sunglasses:
