Wow! Quite the action at the end.
SPOILER...........
Do we think Sandman & Hydroman are actually in it, or is Mysterio creating illusions that he's defeating elemental monsters to pump his public persona? Making himself look heroic, etc.? That's what I'm assuming... and hoping for.Last edited by cockyhoskins; Jan 15, '19, 10:57 AM. -

More than likely the second question seeing as how one of the monsters is made of flames.Comment

The term used at the end of the trailer "dick wad" sums it up for me......a Spidey movie that's not appropriate for my nine year old daughter to see is not cool. If toys based on the movie will be marketing to small children than small children should be able to see the movie without mild swearing or mentions of surfing porn or sex, etc. Spidey should be a kids movie and not targeted towards old guys like us. I get the business reason but as a father of small kids do not agree.
Aunt May is hot and knows is identity. Peter's girl and best friend don;t resemble the comics. Not really "my" webhead anyway.
Can't wait to take my kids to the Christopher Reeve Superman movie playing at my threatre soon.
All said, surprised to see Mysterio actually looks like Mysterio.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

Brown Bear, the international version of the trailer actually replaces that phrase with something like "what's up jerk". It's funny they knew it may not fly enough to replace it in the international trailer.
It doesn't bother me obviously, but I fully get your point.Comment

Nice! I really liked the cast in Homecoming and the fun and breezy tone was refreshing. As much as they changed plot-wise this "feels" more like classic Spidey to me — particularly compared to the Garfield version. I can't wait to take my nieces!Comment

Yup. And I love how it incorporates the 60s Spidey toon theme music into the score, awesome...sigpicComment

I agree about the cursing and making movies that some folks might have issues taking their kids to. I have been wrestling with that with most of the the modern cinematic super hero interpretations.
that said, I found the Homecoming movie to be a cool and refreshing take on Spidey. Close to the 60s vibe, but able to bridge into our modern world.
Both my kids are big Spidey fans, and we are just about to embark on a spring tour of Europe, so this is almost tailer made for my family this year. It should be a hoot to watch this over the summer and say 'hey - we were just there!'Comment
