I have zero interest in sports but this figure is a must have for me! There is a picture on FB of him with the pads INSIDE the jersey and it looks great. Head sculpt is a spot-on likeness AND it's in scale. He'll look great next to my AJ sportsmen. Hope they make more!

        Joe's street clothes

But what about the Joe Namath clothing line??? They would fit in perfect for the Brady Bunch & Charlie's Angels

I would be buying them in multiplies...

Hmmm, who could I cast him as on Batman '66? Sportsmaster seems too obvious.

That sculpt is fantastic. Looks just like him. And his flowing hair reminds me of The Simpsons episode where we learn why Homer's Mom left Grandpa.

The sculpt is really reminiscent of the Dukes of Hazzard line done by Dana Green.

Can't wait to get the limited edition talking Joe Namath figure that awkwardly hits on you when you pull the string...

Like 25 different people posted that clip to the Museum FB wall, it's lost its lustre.

It's not as epicly hilarious as when I post a Comic Action Hero but it's getting there.

I think this figure will go quick online. For the Mego collectors & the NFL/Sports collectors. The problem is how many of them are going to try and flip them. I just want one maby two figures. Since I have Action Jackson in his football outfit it would be a nice bookend. Now if this is truly a new line of 'sports' figures than this could breath new life in the figures, due to the possible cross promotion that Target and Mego have been looking for. I cannot tell you any other classic football player name but it would be something to see more characters from the NFL show up on the shelfs. If Muhammad Ali shows up carded it will be disappointing, I think it should he should be in a two pack with a generic fighter.

I wonder if they will pack him with other figures, or if the case pack will all be Joe. Is it an exclusive to Target? It's shown with a collector sticker. It isn't numbered, and says endorsed. Will it be numbered out of ten thousand? When will he be available?

If you were born in the 20th century, it would have been hard to not hear of him.

Maybe you are a lot younger AND don't watch football.

Brue Im from Europe, where American football, as U can imagine is quite obscure, where no one really understands what the hell is going on the pitch lol...
