    A new one for me

As a former Captain America collector I've seen a lot of merchandise but this is a new one on me. Love the box artwork!

I agree, the package artwork is great!

I’ve always loved everything Captain America and Spider-Man from that era.

The Larami Toy Company? I’m trying to recall but I wonder if the walkie talkies worked as advertised.

I knew I had seen that toy company name before, but couldn’t place it. That may be where I’ve seen it. I’m not sure. It’s definitely familiar.

I was on a major Captain America kick in the late seventies, doubtless due to Reb Brown, and I would have enjoyed these.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

^ Ondint know if that got me on the Captain America kick, it it sure didn’t hurt. I can still remember seeing commercials for it. In my 4 or 5 year-old mind I thought it was going to become a TV series and found that very exciting! Then again, at that time, and still, I have great affinity for The Amazing Spider-Man series.

To this day, I have a special place in my heart for Captain America from that era. That’s why it’s so neat to see this Larami Walkie Talkie set.

Did anybody ever release a Captain America shield Frisbee ?

That's a great idea! While they made a Cap Frisbee they didn't make one that looked like his shield until the 90's

When I saw this was new to you, I had to click this open to see what it was.

I love the pic of Cap throwing the shield.

I had those exact same ones but they were "Interplanetary Ape Phones", they don't work worth a darn.

Larami was obsessed with giving Spider-Man and Cap giant "Dirty Harry" guns.

Definitely a Sal Buscema Cap on the bottom of the package and the walkie-talkies. Nice!!!

The top corner looks like a Kirby redraw-lift.
