Question About Dye & New Me go Heads...

Hi Mego Mates,

Does anybody know if the the new Mego heads will take dye? I'd like to dye a female Caucasian head a slightly more brown color. Not very dark, just a bit darker, for an east Indian character who will march Tootie's light brown skin color.

I've never dyed a female head--wouldn't the hot water ruin the hair?

You would have to use dye for synthetics, and experiment...

^ yeah, Rit Synthetic would work, make sure you use a dark haired figure, as it will dye the hair, too. Not sure about the style of the hair holding.

The boiling water would alter the style of the hair...I'd have to restyle it.
