Not quite sure how to read this thread.
When Lonnie makes a post about some Ebay delusional seller and calls it a joke for someone selling a new Mego Joker for $1200 the thread stays up?
But when yours truly, Corny post a thread in Mego Buzz about a Ebay seller , selling a New Mego Green Lantern for $1.00, my thread mysteriously disappears ?
Is this my computer acting up again, and have to call in a IT guy ?Cornelius POTA sigpic MEGO of the Planet Of The Apes :ape:

Maybe PM a moderator about missing posts. My thread isn't trying to give a knife twist to Mego in any fashion. How about yours?Comment

He may be delusional, but I'm sure he just threw out a high number in hopes a naive collector would bite. I've put up one of a kind "error" items on ebay before at crazy prices but with "Make Offer" option. I mean how could you know the true value with no previous auctions as a reference. Worth a shot I say, you may get a lucky bite. That said, the last time I tried to sell a rare "error" toy on eBay, I ended up losing money on it, because nobody was interested until I priced it below what I paid for it. Lol! The only modern toy errors I've seen that make decent money are Hot Wheels with missing graphics or paint. Although I bet (for example) a completely factory sealed Jimi Hendrix on Demon card and dressed like the Demon would fetch a good price from a collector. Some errors are just cooler than others. A missing number on a sticker outside of the package is pretty lame in my opinion.Comment
