Very sad to hear this. He was the first guy I saw to ever make SMDM mego customs and they were great. Awful time of year for this. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
I just saw this on Facebook. Awful feeling hearing. He had an obsessive love of the things that brought him joy, whether it was Megos, Def Leppard, the Buffalo Bills or The Jaws movies. Always a great guy with nothing but pleasant experiences with trades, sales, etc. I can't remember if he ever made it to a MegoMeet, but it feels like losing someone I've met in person before. I'll miss seeing him online, and my condolences to his family and friends, even us virtual ones. It's been a bad year for losing Mego family.
I'm terrible with names so I didn't connect the dots at first... until I read your touching tribute. He certainly had an enthusiasm that was contagious. I'm so sorry to hear he is gone.
Wow, Yeah had him on FB, actually spoke a few times, and made some toy transactions. But Wow, always seemed such a positive character, what a shame , R.I.P
Oh man... This one hits hard. I got to know Lou many, many years ago and supported his Jaws ventures that he and his wife (at the time) had gone on for many years. Any thing he was into, it was invested 110%. He was a good soul. A bright star in this world has been extinguished and the void feels allot wider. A very sad day indeed.
Oh crap, I didn't realize it was that Lou. I did a couple toy transactions with him over the years and he always seemed like a really nice guy. Very sad news, RIP Lou.
