I'm guessing judging by the numbered figure that this was supposed to be a green shirt Kirk, that someone mistakenly
put the mirror Kirk inside instead, so was this an extra loose mirror Kirk that the factory put in the clamshell and card?

I'd like to have an "inside man" at the Mego factory, slapping together unique figures and packaging them. That would be cool.

Emce Kirk in Mego package reminds me of the clowns that would buy sets from Toy r us
and return it with old figures in place of the new ones. I bought a mego Green Arrow
on Ebay and it had a Doc Mego suit and parts. Be careful with Ebay scammers.

Megorene5 is Rachael Baker. Is the first one hers as well? I know she was carding all of the two packs and posting them on FB. She cuts a small slit in the bubble and gets the figure in there somehow, I'm not sure exactly how she does it.

For the record, she's a customizer, not a scammer. She's been working for Mego as a seamstress as well!

                The first one isn't hers.
The second one is for sale on ebay. Her auction clearly states what she's selling. She does some super cool stuff!

I think the idea is very clever, and I would like to know myself how she's able to remove/replace the figure
                  from the bubble.

Well, Rachel won't send me pictures to see how it looks, so I won't buy her custom carded vintage Kirk. I think she's trying to not let people know her "method" of reseal. Strange that she won't send me a better picture of the figure. I won't buy something when they are being secretive and won't share more pictures. It was kind of insulting, her response.

                    "Hi there,
How is the package resealed? How was it opened? It looks really good in the one picture. How does it look close up?
                    Thanks,
                    Lonnie"

"Very hard to tell it's been opened. Looks nice.

                    Thanks Rachel"

"Can you send me pictures of where it was opened and resealed? I just want to know how noticeable it really is. It looks like the side edge of the card closest to the figure was split and resealed, but that could just be the lighting and angle.
                    Thanks,
                    Lonnie"

"That’s okay. I’ll just hold on to it for now.
                    Thank you."

Lost out on a sale. Asking how it was done, and how it looks, isn't unreasonable when dealing with auctions on ebay. It could look like total crap in another angle. A lot can be hidden with only one picture. Bad sales practices, if you ask me.

She won't share additional pictures, so it can't look that great in person. Seems she is trying to keep her method a "secret" from people, but once she sells it, the secret is out. I think her attitude with me on ebay is "deceptive". Why not show pictures to a potential buyer? Seems like a scam... Not saying it is, but is seems like it.

She may just not want to be bothered with having to take more photos. It's a pretty busy time of year.

                            That isn't what she said.
"That’s okay. I’ll just hold on to it for now.", is what she said. It's an ebay auction. She refused to give any details or additional pictures. That's not very good selling practices.

Haha! I know I've said "I'll just keep it" to people on EBay when I didn't feel like jumping thru their hoops. It was just easier.

Hoops? More pictures than one isn't unreasonable.
