Favorite Christmas album/holiday songs?

I love the Chipmunks I'm no one to judge.

That song of theirs became a Christmas classic decades ago. That said, I rarely hear it on the radio during the holidays, now. I’m mentioning that because I hear many old Christmas recordings, in heavy rotation, on the radio, annually. Even Christmas songs that were initially aimed at children. Not sure why the Chipmunks seem to be forgotten.

^When the first "live-action" film came out a decade or so ago, their new version got a lot of airplay, but after that...you're right. It's like the Chipmunks ceased to be, or something. Very strange.

And that new animated show is still on Nickelodeon, I believe. Even weirder.

Since I'm gay, Everybody always asks me why Fairytale of New York is my favorite Christmas song, when the lyrics feature a horrible antigay slur.

The answer is: Pogue Mahone! Lol. The Pogues are fantastic. While the slur truly won't stand the test of time, the song itself is very good. I can look past it, and enjoy it for what it is.
