I have this on both vinyl and CD as well. don't forget it also has one of Jon Bob Jovi's first recordings tooMeco's (Not to be confused with MeGo) Christmas in the Stars: The Star Wars Christmas Album is right up there for me. I know it's corny, but it's also quite fun, peppy, lively, festive, and yes, even emotionally sappy when appropriate. You can scoff at titles like "What Can You Get A Wookiee for Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)?", but you can tell a lot of heart went into this. It's a great recording. Anthony Daniels is in TOP form as C-3PO, and Meco's orchestral accompaniment is very rich and wonderfully textured. It does not sound cheap. Great recording. Wish they'd have done one for the Prequel and Sequel trilogies as well.

I still play the Harry Simeone Chorale Little Drummer Boy album we had since before I was born. This album IS Christmas to me and the first one I ever remember hearing. I remember acting out this track of The Night Before Christmas in front of the mirror wall in our living room as a child, and now I still act it out for my pre-schoolers.
