You can scoff at titles like "What Can You Get A Wookiee for Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)?", but you can tell a lot of heart went into this. It's a great recording. Anthony Daniels is in TOP form as C-3PO, and Meco's orchestral accompaniment is very rich and wonderfully textured. It does not sound cheap. Great recording. Wish they'd have done one for the Prequel and Sequel trilogies as well.

I have this on both vinyl and CD as well. don't forget it also has one of Jon Bob Jovi's first recordings too

              some of my faves
Queen - Thank God its Christmas
              Greg Lake - Father Christmas
              John Lennon - Happy Christmas
Paul McCartney Wonderful Christmas Time - I know a lot of people hate this one, but I love it
mostly I just stick to the classic rock acts and the one song they did for Christmas
the Twister Sister Christmas album is also really, really good. I play that one every year. Also love the Moody Blues Christmas album

^ I’m with you on Wings/McCartney Wonderful Christmas Time. I’ve always loved it. Until the last few years, I had no idea that so many dislike it so strongly.

I still play the Harry Simeone Chorale Little Drummer Boy album we had since before I was born. This album IS Christmas to me and the first one I ever remember hearing. I remember acting out this track of The Night Before Christmas in front of the mirror wall in our living room as a child, and now I still act it out for my pre-schoolers.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

OK, now we're talkin'. Despise traditional Christmas music, but what I likes, I really likes. We're expecting 13 guests over for Christmas Dinner and this is what they are going to be subjected to:

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
