    Sad news. I guess we all grew up watching her.

    The people of my hometown really liked her when she was in town one summer filming “A League Of Their Own.”

            Met her a few years ago and though she was obviously not in the best of health (walking super slow), she was just as you'd imagine. One of my favorite celebrity encounters.

                That really stinks, I remember watching Laverne and Shirley back in the day, I think it came on after Happy Days.

                    For two seasons (Season 3 and 4), Lavern and Shirley was the #1 show on TV. Then, ABC moved it to Thursdays and the ratings dropped off and never recovered.
