Pictures How Attach a Mego 2.0 Head to a Vintage Style Body

I'm using a CTVT skeleton torso since it is an open structure and easier to see the operation and it uses a basic neck plug and torso hole like a vintage Mego.

Cut the wall anchor so the end is shorter than the head.

Push the wall anchor into the torso from the bottom so the end comes out the neck hole.

Begin screwing the head onto the anchor. Use a screwdriver to tighten at the end.

Because neck holes can vary somewhat in size you can Use a washer or make a gasket to keep the head of the wall anchor in the torso.

Hope this was clear and maybe helps somebody.

Awesome! It would’ve never occurred to me to use a wall anchor. Nice!

I was putting a pic up on the wall and saw that drywall anchor. Something just clicked so I did one just to see. Did a second one just to take pics. I don't even know if anybody is even going to need the technique but just wanted to share.

When you turn the head, does it get tighter or looser, depending on direction turned.

The drywall anchor fits tight enough in the head that the anchor turns with the head
