Anyone ever see The Stranger videos ?

Being a big classic Doctor Who fan from way back i'm ashamed to admit I've never heard of "The Stranger" videos from the 90's until just yesterday when I ran across a video talking about them on youtube.

    The earlier ones sound interesting.

I remember them being advertised but having no interest at the time.

Baker's era as the Doctor is my personal lowest point for the series, I will never warm to it though I stopped blaming him for that ages ago.

I have checked out some of his Big Finish stuff and I was impressed about how he handled the Doctor on his own terms. If I could find the Stranger videos, I'd probably check them out.

There is a weird sub culture of independant production from the 90s, UNIT movies, there was even a whole Auton series wasn't there?

Yea, the video I was watching mentioned an Auton series … They also mentioned a Cyberman audio series with a ripoff Cyberman-sounding name

Apparently all these projects were made by the same guy.

Said most actors who worked for him were/are furious with him because he didn't pay them their cuts after release.

Oh wow, I did wonder how those productions could recoup costs. I mean you couldn't sell those tapes anywhere that didn't use PAL. It's why i never watched any of them.

What's the link to this video?
