Not sure if ANY toy line can say they're cooler than the GI Joe Adventure Team in my opinion.....

Toy goodness abounds on one page! I spend lots of play time with GI Joe, Johnny West (I didn't have the covered wagon, but I did have the buckboard set), and playsets, though none of mine were quite as "deluxe" as the two sets on that page.

Cool Post! If you look at Air Adventure on the top notice his right eyebrow is slightly raised in a quizzical fashion. Some where I read there were only three ladies who painted the eyebrows at the Gijoe factory the slightly raised one is in my mind a distinctive one of the three. The Land Adventurer has the same look notice other 2 figures. The eyebrows seem to be painted more under ridge than the two above. Anyone else notice this?

The chest stickers are different? Early AT catalog?

That's a really neat anecdote, I didn't know that. This is from a 1971 catalog so it's really early on.
