So in the final analysis, coming up to Christmas, is having 10 figures out of 54 not available a sign of success or failure?

Well if they were a sports team their record would be 44 wins 10 losses, which is 17 games over 500.

      I guess that's pretty good.

wouldn't the out of stock ones be wins?

Good price, of course, but does this bode well for Target carrying Mego in the future? Also, why are the "shelf-warmers" not on half-price?

That's the puzzling part. Why some and not others? It's only 3 Trek figures. The rest of the sale is for Charmed and Brady Bunch figures.

Alice from Brady Bunch is. So there's one peg warmer.

You answered your own question. The sale seems to be for only one of the dcpi's Target is using for Megos. I would guess that this particular assortment is a slow mover, so Target is trying to clear some of them out. The Star Trek is the only property moving from this dcpi. However, Target just looks at the dcpi number, so they are included in the discount pricing.

Yes, out of stock megos would be considered a win.

The $6.49 price makes me wonder if Target will carry Megos in 2019. I don't know how much TArget paid Mego for the figures, but at $6.49 I would guess Target is breaking even or losing $. I thought making Brady Bunch figures were a mistake since CTVT already made them a decade ago. The face sculpts on the Charmed figures were terrible. At that price I might get a few for custom fodder.

Is the $ 6.49 price a sale because that's half price from retail ? I expect these to start going
on clearance in 10 days or so and that should go lower than $ 6.49.Not sure if they'll
carry wave 4 but they did order them from what I have read. The 14'' DC are starting to pile up on bottom shelves with 2 packs .

If anyone finds the 6.49 figures at retail, Target will match their own website. For example Chekov still scans for 12.99 but stores will honor the website price if you take the item up to customer service. Another Target tip, if nobody is in line at customer service, they are happy to ring you up there, if the regular lines are all backed up. I've saved a lot of time that way.
