It's with great sadness I have to say we have arrived at a moment we all knew we would have to face. The passing of the legendary Stan Lee. So very sad. I don't think there are sufficient words to express the loss felt at this moment or the weight of what his creations have brought to my life.

Not sad, 95 is a great long life, more like bittersweet. Being that elderly is no fun.
But a true icon has left us, and we thank you Mr Lee, for you, Kirby, and the rest, left that incredible superhero legacy for us to enjoy forever...and ever. RIP...

I was amazed, even just a few years back, at the spring in the step and twinkle in the eye that Stan had at his age. I kind of figured when his wife died last year that it wouldn't be long until we lost Stan, too. That's the way it seems to work for folks that were married as long as they were.Comment

Devastating news. This one hit me really hard. Like all kids, I felt like I knew him personally.
Marvel has been a part of my life for literally as long as I can remember.
Stan brought so much joy and wonder to me. An architect of dreams.
Rest in peace, sir. And thank you, so much.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

So sad.... I was blessed enough to ask him a question at a panel at Wondercon in 2010, and to get a poster signed by him last year at his name sake Comic Con in LA. I can't imagine my childhood w/o watching "The Amazing Spider-Man" after school every day. He will be greatly missed. RIP Stan.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
