    The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

This hits Netflix on November 16th and looks really good!

The Coen brothers always seem to bring some awesome stuff to the screen and adding Tim Blake Nelson to the mix sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm pretty excited about this one myself, although I'm hoping to catch it on the big screen the week before in my town, as a limited theatrical release is planned for the 8th.

This looks like it's going to be enjoyable. Many of my all-time favorite movies are from the Coen Brothers and I think Tim Blake Nelson is great. Saw that Clancy Brown's in it, too. Just marked my calendar and I will definitely be watching this on the 16th.

Yep. I love O' Brother too. Great dialogue. Same way with the Jeff Bridges True Grit... Just fun to listen to.

Watched Buster Scruggs last night. Didn't disappoint. Great storytelling.

I just saw it on Thanksgiving (late night). What a wonderful sleeper of a movie. Very unique. Dark humor at its best.

There are six segments, loved the first five. The sixth and last segment was the weak link, it was by far my least favorite.

            Highly recommend it!

I forgot to follow up on my own posting. I enjoyed it as well. It's definitely a Coen brothers movie and all of the episodes played out differently for sure.

              Fun watch!

Pretty fun. Loved the first one, and Tom Waits' section the most.

Yeah, the last segment fell a little short for me too. Loved the rest though!

I thought the "Ballad of Buster Scruggs", the opening segment, had the feel of a Looney Tunes cartoon. I mean that in the best way possible. I told a friend of mine that there was "10 minutes of great dialog in the first 5 minutes". The segment titled "Meal Ticket" bummed me out and I paused my viewing for a while.
