The hats are cowboy hats from Hobby Lobby. They are plastic and flocked but because they are plistic I put them in very hot water to soften the brim and flatten it. It kind of worked, not the smoothest edge but it was my first time trying something like that. I had to paint Spocks.

Yes FTC suits. Couldn't get a Trek body boot foot through the pants for Kirk so he's on a regular body with shoes, Spock's pants were looser and the boot feet went through. My neckties and Tommy Guns.

These look great Gene, I was thinking of doing these customs a little ways back, but put them on the back burner for more villans and aliens. I like how you described the hats and your ties are pretty cool too.

I always love seeing Trek customs, very nicely done, so how bout a game of fizbin?

Thanks for the tip, Gene. It disappointments me that, with all the great custom parts we have now, there are no really good '40s-style fedoras. Kudos for a creative, economical solution.
