Thank You, Mego & Dr. Mego -- Batman Replacement Head

So, I received my replacement 14" Batman head today. I recently looked at the classic Blue Batman, which looks VERY good IMO, but it didn't make sense that it would look THAT much better than the 14" black Batman, even with the fixed neck. Now, I think I know why.

Mego didn't just fix the neck issue on the head; no, they also ENLARGED the head! No more pinhead Batman! I was shocked when I opened the envelope. Talk about going above and beyond!

But, don't take my word for it. Seeing is believing...

CrimsonGhost's head sculpt was already great, but now to have it at the proper size makes it that much better.

So, thank you Mego and Mr. Paul Clarke, for going the extra mile and more fix this figure and make me have to rethink my quick maksift setup for the 14" figures, which did not include this Batman.

I got mine today, too! Wonderful job. What is the best way to get the new head on the body? I got the old head off with no problem....

The best way is to heat it up and put it on.

I, on the other hand, just twisted it on as is, but do so at your own risk.

Definitely looks better. Still has too long of a neck IMO, but that's a body problem, not a head problem.

Didn't see your post until today (thanks for your help!), or I would have heated it. Saw a video post last night on the Mego Ambassador's FB page that showed how to get the new head on (insert at a slight angle and push while rotating the head on the base), and it worked great! Fit is very snug and very cool. With the new head, Batman is probably the best figure of the Wave 1 14" line.
