    You're looking for somebody...but it's not KISS!!!

    Hey everybody,

I get a new Paul Stanley from Target and I decided to give him a new paint job.

    Easy, Catman, they are serious!

I sculpted this one. I knew my sculpt was under there somewhere.

Did you remove the existing paint first or do just a touch-up?

I liked it as-is, your touch ups look great.
Did you have any trouble brushing acrylics on the head? I have struggled with that myself and I don't know why.

That looks amazing! I’m going to buy another one to crack open and do the same thing.
                Fresh, not from concentrate.

I didn't really have trouble with the paint, but I was mostly doing just touch-ups. I just used FolkArt satin paint from Michaels, so nothing special.

Looks so much better and really shows what a great sculpt it is. Judging by past Paul figures from ALL the various companies, Paul’s likeness isn’t an easy one to nail.

A little with water. Enough to make the paint flow off of the brush easily.

I lean toward thin and just build up layers.
