    "Space Dads" was a failed Gerry Anderson/Sid and Marty Krofft co-production in 1977 that starred Stuart Whitman as the leader of a band middle-aged astronauts seeking a planet where they could have extra-marital affairs.

    Considered unwatchable, all known episodes were rounded up and destroyed. Many say it was a wise move, others totally agree.

    Man, you are on fire with your pithy comments on these catalog pages.

    As soon as I read "Stuart Whitman" I nearly laughed out loud. He "legitimized" so many bad productions...but still enjoyable! Heck he was Pa Kent on Superboy (which is also kind of a bad production!)

      You nailed it on the Gerry Anderson -- those are practically the same jackets they wore S2 of Space: 1999 --
