Yup. Those stripes look better in that pic.

Yes, they do. The blue thread is clever.

Looks like two gold stripes to me.
Is this another one of those Blue Dress pics?!? haha.
That symbol on the shirt does indeed look screened on. I like that change.

Toy designs are their own thing. These are simplified - cartoon if you will- designs, not hyper-accurate miniature statues. They're toys for kids. The original Mego figures sure as h@ll weren't accurate. (Gorn is one of a multitude of examples) Neither were the original Star Wars toys from Kenner (Greedo, Walrusman and Hammerhead were some of the coolest in the line!)

          I think Spock looks fine.

Just having the Mego name on it makes it PERFECT.

Nice. Hopefully more of them are right than wrong!

I think it's interesting that his insignia is screen printed, because my Sulu (from wave 1) has the stick on kind.
I could also swear I saw a photo of wave 2 Spock with the metallic stick on insignia, but the one in the Mego Museum gallery is a different Spock (you can tell by placement of the tricorder strap) and he also has the screen printed insignia.

I'm not sure what to think about the stripes on the sleeves.
Sulu also has one braid with yellow thread in the center, dividing it.
Was his rank 1 braid or 2?

Sulu has his sewn down with the thread that matches closest to his rank color so it doesn't look like separate stripes. Spock has thread to separate the stripes that matches his shirt.
                That's my expert opinion.

She was talking about the chest insignia.

You must not have read her whole post. I was answering the second paragraph which read...
"I'm not sure what to think about the stripes on the sleeves.

I tried to explain the difference between the two braids.

I'm not trying to be critical, but those mistakes are puzzling to me.
Spock from "The Corbomite Maneuver"? Now be quiet an drink your Tranya!

Don't forget...eyebrows aren't pointed up. It won't stop me from buying him...just sayin'.

If you want to fix the eyebrow issue, there must be something that you can use to remove the current eyebrows, or just find the same color paint as the face color and then repaint your own eyebrow version, probably a simple fix.

Well, I had wanted to leave him in the package...so there's really no way to fix that. So I guess I'll be opening my New Mego Spock. Luckily...I have two MINT EMCE Spock heads tucked away. Then I'll just have to have my Buddy Anthony(TheToyroom)make me a vintage Mego Card.

The eyebrows are straight on Mirror Spock. The discrepancy is highly illogical.
