Lemmy from Motorhead! Throw in his custom Rickenbacker and his amp "Murder One" and I'm a happy camper!
Other picks:
Rush
GWAR
Misfits
The Cramps"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."Comment

For me, the subject's "toyeticness" (probably not a real word, so I'm coining it now) is important, that's why KISS figures have always been popular. Sure, I think a Jimmy Page figure would be cool, but it wouldn't be toyetic. Musicians that look "normal" might work for the hyper realistic Hot Toys treatment, but not so much for a more simple, stylized 8" mass market figure.
But on the other hand, maybe:
-Alice Cooper (maybe "From the Inside" era, complete with classic makeup and straitjacket, like his appearance in Marvel Premiere #50)
-King Diamond (hey, he got a 3 3/4" figure from Super 7 so you never know!)
-original Misfits (the 12" figures of Jerry and Doyle from 21st Century Toys were pretty cool but they were the "Newfits" so unfortunately no Danzig)
-Sex Pistols? (at least Sid, because as practically a living cartoon, he was pretty toyetic. But then you gotta at least throw Johnny in the mix, Medicom did figures of both. Jones and Cook would be pretty boring though, definite pegwarmers!)
-Abbath (gotta throw in a completely obscure wildcard But he is toyetic, in a KISS way, and his solo album from a couple years back was awesome, so I'm a bit biased. )
Some other great choices have been already mentioned as well!Comment

I also just thought of Ghost. I'm not that fond of front man Tobias Forge's current incarnation as Cardinal Copia (that costume doesn't do much for me, his previous skull mask was much more striking) but Papa Emeritus in his slicked back hair and tux would look pretty cool, maybe the Pope outfit as an accessory). Guess you have to throw in one of the Nameless Ghouls as well.Comment
