Quite a guy. My son, wife and I met him last year at the Jonesboro (GA) Bandit Run Festival. He looked very old and decrepit, however he sounded like his old movie star self (even flirted a bit with the Mrs). He was really nice and it was cool to meet him.

This week the local theater is playing "Smokey and the Bandit" so the wife and I went yesterday afternoon and saw it on the big screen for the first time since 1977. It was just as fun as ever despite us being two of six people in the theater.If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.Comment
