What can be said of this legend? Dying at age 91, he did it all! I especially loved the movie "Seems like Old Times" with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn. That was based on a Neil Simon play. To say this guy was brilliant at what he did, would simply be an under-statement of the year!

I would say my favorite movie based on his work was "Murder by Death"....Although I do love Biloxi Blues and The Cheap Detective... -
The Odd Couple and The Sunshine Boys--they still make me laugh. Murder by Death is great camp fun, too. Along with Billy Wilder, he and Simon were the voice of 20th-century character-driven comedy. I thought he passed sometime ago because he wasn't getting the recoginition he's deserved. When I took theater classes, he was a favorite.
Biloxi Blues gets overlooked as one of Walken's best performances. It came out too close to Ferris Bueller so the combined expectations of Ferris + Odd Couple were too great. I didn't know Seems Like Old Times was Simon. Fantastic movie. Hawn, Chase and Grodin right at their peak.Comment
