Disenchantment

Anybody following this new show?

As a lover of the Simpsons, Futurama and Mission Hill, I was totally on board and I'm only three shows in, it's growing on me but it's taking some getting used to.

Although i think Elfo is fantastic as a character.

I got to watch 4 of the shows on Wednesday and have been wanting to watch more. First episode I was already hooked into it without much effort. Elfo is awesome, and I really think Luci is hilarious...

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Eric Andre, so that was easy.

I think the thing that's off for me is usually, I'm on board with episode one and this is a slower build. I'm enjoying it mind you, just wondering where it's going.

I wasn't thrilled with the first episode, but I watched a few more and its growing on me. I'll probably watch the rest of the season of the next week or two.

I watched it in the background, I think it is pretty good. It does seem a lot like Futurerama to me, I've seen all their seasons, but the Simpsons I stopped watching steadily, so I can't compare them.

Thanks for the recommendation, I checked out the first episode last night and enjoyed it, so it's even better to hear that this is more of a grower.

I blew through four more episodes last night, I'm really enjoying this. And having Matt Berry and Rich Fulcher do some of the voice work is a huge plus for me as I am a big fan of both (too bad they aren't in the same scenes, it would be like a Snuff Box reunion!)

I know Fulcher doesn't have many lines (at least not yet) but I love his character.

And damn, not only Berry and Fulcher, but Noel Fielding is in an episode as well, so it's a bit of a Boosh reunion too, sweet! That combined with a bunch of the Futurama cast on board makes me really happy with the casting.

I was amused Eric Andre did a voice. He's a regular staffer on the Howard Stern show. Too bad he didn't keep his girl friend Rosario Dawson.

I got to watch the rest of the series. I enjoyed the final episodes, and really like that these are not standalone, they build on the episode before it. I'm ready to see the next season!
