Great interview! Thanks for sharing. I think that was a surprisingly candid, but very positive, profile on the new Mego. Exciting times.

Nice interview. I like the "new product every 45 days"!

I'm embarrassed to say that I just now noticed the Back to the Future connection with "Doc and Marty."

Very cool interview, by the way.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Wow! Fantastic to hear about the passion from Marty. I'm not really in the market for all of it, but I'm sure excited to pick up my favorites at $14.99 in person at Target. Rad. It's really great having Mego back.

45 days! Wow, how many days has it been since the original launch day? I would think Wave 2 would have to be in the factories and coming to stores soon. Any updates on that?

^ We do know that there will be two more waves before Christmas.

^ Yeah, I just wondered if Wave 2 was coming in September, October... and if they'll be announcing the figures ahead of time.
I know there are the "spoiler" threads, but so far the only official thing seen has been Paul Stanley shared here, right?

October and December should be the next months to drop.

Mego said Wave 2 in October and Wave 3 in November. Getting ready for Halloween, Black Friday and Christmas shopping season!

New Megos every 45 days! At least 8 waves a year keeping around 20 figures per wave? The Real Mego will dominate other ReMegos.

I gotta say, that last paragraph made me tear up. It was quite nice to see the personal response of the interviewer (a member here???), something I'm sure many of us are feeling in the same way.

^I agree, it was a great conclusion to the interview. And personally, I appreciated the comment about inclusion. That's certainly something that's felt at MegoMeet and something my partner commented on when he saw my Mego Corp. shirt.

Great interview and honestly, they should do more of this stuff. Reach out to places that aren't just in the retro toy world. Giving things a personal spin will definitely help attract more people not just to the product but the brand overall. And there's a good passion there.

I did find it odd, dunno if a question/answer is missing or if it was phrased wrong or something, but one question is like "So tell me about the retro inspired packaging" and the response is about the change of design of the figures. Seemed like a disconnect there, but overall a great read.
