    "Fantasy Toy Soldiers"

I have been subscribed to the Fantasy Toy Soldiers newsletter.

They have sent out many pictures of some really amazing toys!

I really like the Mummy and Skeleton soldiers.

They are pretty wild looking. Very cool figures.

They would be great for wandering the grounds to my little farmhouse! Just in time for Halloween, the season being around the corner. If they are only a dollar, the price seems fair.

DOLLAR GENERAL: Mummy Army & Skeleton Army:

I love these types of figures as well, Army of Elves:

The whole site is fantastic and inspiring.

I enjoy all the monsters, species, creatures, Undead Beings and soldiers & warriors of all kinds. A wide range of fascinating toys.

Got the skeletons last year and sold spares on ebay. Did pretty well with them. Need to go hit the DG.

Gnarly. I saw some cool Ninjas, slightly bigger scale, that were in the toy solider style at the Dollar Tree near me this week. I almost bought them on a lark, but I'm drowning in toys as it is.

          Cool.

These figures are fun to look forward to seeing.

Things like the mummy figures are a wonderful surprise, not knowing what sculpts will be next.

(with other toys, there is often advance knowledge in what will be produced in the near future)

got some today. One full set per card. For a buck a good deal.

I found and picked up a couple of packs each of Skeleton and Mummy Warriors at Dollar General this afternoon.

Global Observer-those look awesome. I will have to keep my eyes open for them.

the closest i ever had as a kid was this Marx set...

which I would dearly love to find again.

Many of those viking and knight figures got painted with Testor's paints as my first D&D miniatures even if they were the wrong scale for it.

^They are based on PPC's Marvel "Activated Super Heroes",so you are indeed correct!!!

I had the Marvel figures as a kid, but strangely none survived into adulthood, and they are almost impossible to find nowadays. Brian has some pics on PS. You can see some of the Tim Mee figures are also based on the Falcon and the Human Torch, but are heavily modified.

I covered them on a recent podcast:

Wow! I"m not into the figurines, but I really like the play environment.

I like the look of all those toys.

It is amazing what designers can come up with.
