So bizarre they had the McDonald's characters costing a buck each more than the Megos. And the McD's were smaller, less well made and for Pete's sake they were advertisements for a restaurant....

Sooooo much good stuff. Banner time for toys right there, and there wasn't even an Adventure Team item in the entire add.

I could look at that all day! So much goodness was out there in the days before Star Wars and Kenner changed my focus.

I recognize Rob Bruce's name from his appearances on "Comic Book Men". Always liked it when he turned up on the show.

Wow! That was very cool. Last page rocked. Never even heard of Childs World until I joined here. We had Kiddie City, Kay Bee and ToysRUs.

That is a really delightful Flyer. Even Nararone is on there.

The Space 1999 toys are amazing!

I enjoyed Moon Base Alpha by Mattel, as well as the Eagle 1 Spaceship.

The Milton Bradley Space 1999 Game was one of the things that I got from e-bay.

Many other things there that I knew about from the past.

Great stuff, I still admire that Space: 1999 play-set.

I remember Child World very well, I still remember the aisle the megos were in and the squeaky white panel floor
                  the good old days.

I'm glad that there was a time and place like Children's Palace, when & where they sold 1970's and 1980's toys at the same time. I don't think most modern stores keep any old stock.

Also, I think the time has passed when there was an end-cap of discounted broken or returned toys.
