General New Mego Wishlist... Characters and Properties

New Mego POTA figures would obviously be a hit with collectors, this is a must.

I also would love to see an 8 inch Dallas line. One of my favorite series of all time. My wife and I love going back and watching the old episodes in iTunes every Friday night.

So glad to know there is someone else out there! I was seriously starting to think I was the only one. Loved and still love the series. I have FTC 12" JR figures but I'm really itching for the full 8" treatment and I know that Mego would do it up right.

For re-releases, I'd like to see Mego reacquire the rights to do:

DC superheroes (if/when FTC no longer has those rights)
Marvel Superheroes (if/when DST no longer has those rights, if they still do)
Planet of the Apes
Conan

For new licenses of classic properties, ones I'd like to see:

Kolchak: the Night Stalker

Star Wars (pipe dream, of course)

I'd also like to see (though I seriously doubt it will happen) Mego branch out and tackle some properties that go outside there wheelhouse, with a Battle Royale line, or something based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

So, how is everyone’s wishlist looking?

Two from my original list have happened (Rocky and a Hammer Dracula).

As of now, I’d still like to see the TOS crew get complete, plus aliens and at least one playset.

Other lines I really want to see include Planet of the Apes (PLEASE!), Dark Shadows, and the Monster Squad. I think with Mego doing so well with the monster stuff, those last two lines would do well.

Anyway, what say you fellas?

EDIT: Of course I’d still love some Classic Doctor Who as well. I imagine the license could be had much cheaper now than it could 5-10 years ago.

Every single last Ultraman and the alternate forms of the ones that have alternate forms (e.g., Geed Primitive and Geed Ultimate Final, Orb Burnmite and Orb Origin, Tiga Sky Type and Power Type, etc.)

POTA seems to be one that most of us agree on. I wonder if they’ve even considered it.
