as much as I would like to love forever, if they actually were able to stop aging, the world would very quickly implode. there already is a serious over population problem, can you imagine what would happen if people stopped aging?

Not necessary. In 1900 they said there were a billion people. Now they say there is 7 billion. That population explosion doesn't sound plausible. A lesser talked about conspiracy theory is the powers that be lie about the real population numbers to control resources and keep people over worked. Yes cities are congested but most of our lands are rural or uninhabited.

I for one do not want to live forever. I would like to have seen interstellar space travel and world peace like Star Trek. But, I'm happy knowing my kids are well and I'm going to a better place to be with my family, friends and fur babies when my time is complete.
