    Converting new Mego 14" Zod

I had a little bit of time to play around last night. The putty job on the thighs needs cleaning up. I didn't put a lot into it because I wasn't sure the idea would work. Having the dual hinge in the knee joint is what is key, otherwise the legs would lose proportion too much. I am pretty happy and learned a lot on this first attempt. For $20 I got a pair of arms, legs, boots, suit, and a vinyl head. I am going to move the belt up; I didn't do any sewing at all yet. The extra material at the legs is tucked in the boot.

    Next up Batman

So basically all you had to do was the legs. No head shrinking or anything else. That looks really good, if that’s the case.

Yep. Moving on to Batman now. He's going to require some sewing.

At first, I was thinking "what's the big change"...but it actually is!

Is that an older Mego torso or FTC? And how did you switch the head?

Original Mego Torso and pelvis from the ol' parts box. The head is on with a piece of dowel and a screw. I'll probably do something different there too, kind of hoping for a LaserMego solution - hint hint.
