I agree that a repaint and some other touches can greatly change the look of a figure. I have some Dinah-Mite figures that I repainted and there is actually a pretty decent sculpt under those scary big eyes she originally came with. It completely changed her look. I have a couple extra Kelly's and plan on doing a makeover to see how close I can get. Even with the open mouth.Comment

And, did anyone notice that Kelly's head is the same head that was used for the Mattel WW figure? Put them side by side.Comment

I joined the Mego Ambassadors group on FB. Per Paul Clarke: " - Sony is the licensor [for Charlie's Angels] and they do not have actor likeness in the license - or screen shots of the characters, so Mego has to use non-specific sculpts and focus on the outfits instead."
I was in the US over the weekend and found the new Mego figures at a Target in Westlake OH. After seeing the Charmed figure in person, I decided to pick her up. Going to switch the clothes since I think she looks more like Kelly. I'm sure I can figure out another use for the actual Kelly down the road... she actually looks more like Kate Jackson to me, LoL.Comment

Also, oddly, none of the Kelly figures in stock had the gold foil numbered sticker on the packages.Comment

I also thought that about the likeness. I was wondering if they messed up at the factory and miss-labeled heads. It seems like they were switched. So, eventually doing some head switching, we might get good likenesses of the original Angels.Comment
