Really enjoy those history videos...keep 'em coming!

Just one constructive suggestion: the music (which is a nice touch) tends to cut off rather abruptly. Seems like a nice fade-out between musical segments would be much better for the overall presentation, and shouldn't be hard to do. I myself am no video editor, so I can't pretend to be an expert here, just someone who knows what looks good to the eye and sounds good to the ear.

That drove me crazy, my sound editor won't save fades anymore. I tried 50 times until I just decided "done is better than perfect" . I've got to upgrade my program I guess.

Could Western Heroes be going back to Mego?

I just checked at Classic TV Toys does not offer the complete Western Heroes anymore, so could Mego be getting there rights back to re-release them? For some reason or another I never did reorder them. You can still put them together on the site and I may do that unless Mego is going to release them.

I remember having a Wild Bill Hickock figure in the box and a Davy Crockett in a mailer bag. Unfortunately I have neither today. They were well made.

very good video .i have some of these ,i have a set of the 1980 lion rock figures ,their loose but complet.also have the mad monsters from 1980 ,that was cool back then ,toysrus first opened here in port ore,
and i walked in and it was mego everywhere ,i got western figures,monsters,teen titans ,some 8 superheros ,a couple jonny actions,and starsky and hutch figures and the fonz for 97 cents each for those .that was
my last great mego experieance till last week at target .looking forward to the next video

Loved this. Thanks for putting it together. Ya know, it's a line I never paid much attention to, and now I'm really appreciating them. Wild Bill and Sitting Bull for me, please. These are really great looking toys.

I have a special connection to them due to my dad selling them briefly in the late 1970s. He got a hold of some overstock from Parkdale, I remember that day really well.

I was allowed to pick out a set when he got home. They mainly became customized "Challenge of the Superfriends" characters thanks to magic markers and imagination. Davey was Hal Jordan.

With Megos & ReMegos back in the for front tI wish that one of the two companies would return the WesternHeroes with:
* Annie Oakley
* Calamity Jane
* General Cowboys #Cowgirls
* Settlers
* Native Americans

Now that I am in recovery from shoulder surgery I have been watching way to much tv and it is amazing how many of the western shows are in reruns these days. Makes one wonder if there is money to be made from old collectors. Most of the real western characters are in public domain so that saves on cost there. Am I the only one who would buy them?

Excellent video.

I like how heads can be re-issued, such producing one as a knight's head.

It's like having androids, but crossing them over to different settings, in different costumes. And just when a hero thinks they escaped the bad android from the Western environment, they run into him again in the Medieval Town!

Works with clones too.
