My non-mego purchase at Target: The Black Hole on DVD

Always been one of my favourites. I have three different DVD releases of this movie, plus an original VHS edition.
Bring on the Blu-ray already! Seriously, Disney... get on with it!

I spent last week in Orlando conceiving of a Black Hole Ride for the Disney Parks in my mind. Seriously, how did Disney never turn this into a ride? Not all Disney's movie based rides are beloved box office juggernauts (I'm looking at you, "Dinosaur")

The film even has the crew riding a "people mover" style tram through the Cygnus! Combine that with Animatronics of all the Robots, the amazing environments, the meteor storm, and of course, going through the Black Hole itself. The ride literally writes itself. Would be a perfect addition to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.

I got my copy a couple years back when Disney Movie Club was having a big $5 sale. I got that,Tron and The Rocketeer.
