No one was even talking about FTC until you felt the need to hijack the thread and now you want to play victim. If you want to push the FTC skeletons, start a new post on the FTC page.

No I'm not hijacking anything just mentioning that we had a Mego type skeleton then all the FTC hate came out (As usual) and I'm sorry if I haven't been on this site as long as some people and just find things out recently maybe you should take that into account before blasting someone for nothing...People only see what they want I guess..

So in the middle of the discussion about the Big Lots skeleton, you said CTVT is better. What did you expect? You may like it better, and that's fine, but your statement is negative toward the Big Lots product and rolls out the red carpet for FTC opinion.

Let's move along, folks. Time to talk about toy skeletons, instead of watching some people play the blame game and the victim card. Just buy the skeletons you like, accessorize them and pose them and have some fun!

Not my photo, but here's an example of some Star Trek MEGO love with the Big Lots skeleton!

You're oblivious to your posting style. People here are buying and have bought the FTC skeleton; it's also an FTC freebie which says something. The FTC skeleton has a cool Harryhausen vibe and has been used for many customs, but it also has some shortcomings. Noting those shortcomings is not an "attack". Various aspects (misassembly, height) of the Big Lots skeleton were noted as well.

As for breakage--no, you do not owe me proof. I just suspect, in trying to hold your ground, you're not being honest. If I'm wrong, I'll apologize. And then I'll go back to being more selective of the the posts to which I respond.

That's fun and a good usage. I wonder if an adapter could be made for the BL skull to fit on a Mego?

Yes, I would think so. I don't have the necessary tools, like a 3D printer, or whatever LaserMego uses to make his various adapters. In order to retain the skull's up/down and tilt ability, one would probably need to keep the original swivel/hinge joint, and any new adapter would simply provide a Big Lots-sized socket-leading-to-the larger MEGO swivel socket.

^Yes, retaining the jaw feature would be great.

Oh this is my last say on the matter your reading into too much which is not true do you like to pick and choose your words or only the one's that suit you? Instead of the WHOLE message you like other's quote justs parts of it how about the whole thing maybe then you would have a valid excuse

Christ and I never mentioned that I "Liked" this one better I just said it was in scale and was 8" like a MEGO which is 8"

I honestly think people here just love to be a smart *** and prove someone wrong and god forbid something goes wrong with this said item because then your called out as a liar? WOW! Yes they both break so what? I mention the CTVT skeleton as hey guys why are you not talking about this one? And I get grief accusing of hijacking & lying by asking why?

If one is made in 6" scale and someone says it's not like a MEGO will they get blasted too? Damn.....

And Since you've been here for 10 YEARS and me only one how am I going to know the history of people buying the FTC figure? That's why I asked...

Oh, yeah... If you have the dimensions of the "male" plug on the skull, I could whip up an adapter in a couple of minutes. I don't have the mad skills that Paul does, but that would be easy peasy even for me.

Luckily I have calipers... very handy for a miniature hobbyist!

The plug has a ridge on the end to make it firmly plug into the socket without popping out.

6mm overall in length. Width is 4mm, but at the end where the ridge is, it is 5mm.

                              Something like this?

                              skeleton neck plug.jpg

Or would you like a neck (bone) that is a little longer than the plug itself?

I'm not a specialist in head swapping. Perhaps PNGwynne can better answer that question.
