What was that Matchbox Bazooka gun called ?

Just had a toy flashback .......

It was a red, white and blue --- kind of Bazooka gun.

You load your Matchbox car in it.

And at the press of the trigger, it shoots the car out.

Hasbro made a red white and blue stripe gun that fired cars, it was called Ricochet Racers. I always wanted that set but never got it.

While they didn't fire Matchbox cars there were more than 2 versions. One was like the Marksman set but had ramps with the barrels and there was also a western set and a later set where the gun was green. These others sets may have been made by Palitoy as they made a few RR sets too.

SO COOL! I had the red/white/blue gun and had totally forgotten about it until you provided the pics. It gave me a flashback about how bulky the gun felt in my hands when firing. Thanks Type1Kirk and SainthoodDenied! JOHN
