I'm not really sure what to think based on this trailer.

I'm happy they kept Godzilla chunky …. There was talk they were going to slim him down because the Japanese audiences said he was too fat.

The dude's American, of course he's a proud buffet buster

The ironic thing about that is the Japanese Shin Godzilla is the one who has thunder thighs and hips. Its American counterpart is much more well proportioned.

Check this thread, pretty dead on if you ask me...

There's more going on here than they're saying. Either there's a lot more kaiju in the next two movies, or they're prepping Destroy All Monsters for after KK v G.

The X marks are Kaiju. Mothra and Rodan are declassified. Ghidorah is the one in the arctic. Godzilla is Japan, naturally. Kong must be the one in the middle of the ocean. That leaves 15 more locales!

Same here. When all these monsters are appearing in the film and they still manage to fill the trailer with so much yammering, doesn't sound promising.

Of course the blu-ray will end up in my collection anyway. Toku fan since '71.

looks great. the talky parts are probably all in the beginning as humans search for the monsters

Is the monster at 1:09 baby Mothra or another unidentified beastie?

I figured it was just looked like it might be something else.

A bit off topic but I was never a fan of Rodan

Always thought he was the most boring monster of the Toho biggies
