Great sculpt Andy! We don't blame you for the out of proportion body that he got put on.

That, sir, is a wonderful rendering of The Batman! I get both a Neal Adams AND an Alex Ross vibe from it! I will likely wind up purchasing the 14” Batman now solely for this gorgeous artwork you’ve created.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I am stunned...I can stare endlessly at great work. Pure stare-worthy work. Your talents are perfection...I am guessing you can lose a lot of sleep when you are on a roll. Please keep creating, and be inspired to continue to do the great work that you do.

No blame here, as well. I just keep looking at it and wondering how well it would work for a 12" body. After all, I think Marty said; If you don't like it, buy it for the parts and pieces.

If you can attach it, I think it would work on one of the super muscular Mego bodies like Magnetic Batman or Buck Rogers were on. It's not as big as Cap, so theres that.

Mego will get the 14" figures worked out. New territory is sometimes rocky.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I was too afraid to post this on Facebook for fear of being chased into a windmill by angry villagers. I hope you like the next waves as well!!

Yeah, good call! Since the head looks to small on that 14" body...it might look right on a 12" body.

Excellent sculpt CrimsonGhost! You really nailed it. I was pretty concerned with the necks until I picked up a Zod and was able to take him apart and examine everything. Like most figures, it's hard to judge from pics, until you get them in hand. Given that firsthand experience with Zod, I'm now interested again in the 14 inch line and more specifically Batman.

Wow, that is one of the best Batman sculpts I've ever seen, and I've seen a LOT of Batmen! You nailed the character. Despite the issues with the scale of the head to the body, I'm probably going to pick it up based on your sculpt alone.

I'm going to give Batman a closer look after he hits the shelves. Zod was not the brontosaurus I thought he would be when I got him out of the package and gave things a closer look. In fact he proportioned out better than pics actually showed. I would think Batman will play in a similar fashion.

The hips are ball jointed as well. No banding system on the new 14 inch bodies. The double jointed knees are a nice feature as well.

Reminds me a lot of the Denys Fisher body used on Superman.

It seems like the issue with the 14" figures are that the body and the head both have necks.

I will have to see though if it's a real issue when I get one in-hand. Batman's neck looks way too long in packaged pictures I have seen.
