That is a good trailer.

I thought season 2 would be in September, but waiting a little longer might not be too bad.

I'm really looking forward to the new episodes!

I'm really getting annoyed all current action movies and TV shows MUST have characters make snarky comments after every event they witness.

This trend started on kids shows and is spilling into mainstream movies and TV shows

eg ---- If there's a torpedo on the way that will blow up the ship in 2 seconds, some character has to say something like, "good thing I didn't bother doing my laundry yesterday"

Had zero interest in the first season of ST: Discovery...but by bring Cpt.Pike in and his crew(and the Enterprise)they now have my attention.

Yeah, she'll be playing Number One, originally played by Majel Barrett-Roddeberry.

I read some good comments from the producers, saying their going for a tone closer to the original series for this season, and the actor playing Pike was talking about his character being brave and kind, and sort of being the Federation ideal as originally conceived by by Gene Roddenberry. This has gotten me looking forward to this season.
