NECA to be in Target stores August 3rd

On August 3, NECA is coming to @target!
    ▫️
We’re very excited to announce the arrival of the NECA section in all Target stores nationwide. Fans can find the new NECA section of action figures and collectibles in the entertainment area at their local store. Selection will vary by location, but expect to see both the latest and the greatest toys from NECA. New items will pop up on a regular basis, and there may even be the occasional surprise in store, so stay tuned

Target made a really smart move and are capitalizing on the demise of TRU.

I think we are going to be seeing a lot of this with Tru gone. Seems like a lot of manufactures are looking to m
"Make retail partners" and exclusive stores or products. On a lot of sites they are in an uproar about it because (choose one)
    1) they are hurting LBC's
    2) I don't have x store near me
    3) they are only catering to scalpers
    4) guess I wont get x because of distribution
    5) I don't like x store

But I can see why the move by like companies like NECA a now the retail shelf space has doubled in some cases trippled as there is twice the amount of Target stores than there were TRU

People will find anything to complain about. Its the age of entitlement and if there isn't easy access to something you want then screw that company for being greedy!

Stephen King posted something on Facebook about the new show Castle Rock which is only going to be on Hulu and it was amazing to see how many people were ticked off by this. "Why don't you make this available to all your fans?!" and so-on.

I don’t think I know anything about NECA.
    I’ll check Google.

This is great news! With the 2018 holiday season fast approaching, I'm excited to see Target's improved toy department. Already, I've been in a few Target store locations which have added more toy aisles which in some cases are either larger or equal in size to many of the TRU stores, particularly for the action figures. Best Buy also seem to stock a small number of NECA products, although the selection is dismal and I doubt they'll devote an entire section solely to action figures.
