      To be fair to Golden Girls, the show has a pretty massive fanbase with a ravenous appetite for merch.

              My wife loves Golden Girls, she made me watch it every night for a year. She did the exact same thing with "the Facts of Life". It's not quite as cult with the irony crew but I think it's possible this could have some real legs as well.

                              I secretly like it. It's fascinating to watch as the seasons go on, how it just becomes utterly unwatchable. The Clooney/Leachman years are incredible pain.
