What do you think of the new MEGO card design?

I'm gonna be truthful here and say I think it's rather bland.

The large diagonal stripes just aren't doing it for me.

I admit to getting a bit spoiled by all the incredible card art we've been seeing from Super7 on their ReAction line.

The Worst, MOTU, Universal Monsters and Planet of the Apes cards are simply stunning.

I think it's a design decided by Target. It may not reflect further 2019 releases, but I still like it. I like the bubble shape.

I think it will attract attention in the store, which is what it’s designed to do. Could it be better? Sure.

I’ve got no problems with it though.
      Fresh, not from concentrate.

I think the cards are being designed to sell the product, and be discarded once the figure is removed. I like that they aren't clamshelled.

I wonder if the clamshell cases out there now would properly fit these new mego cardbacks?

I don't mind the new cards...but I do prefer the classic Mego style.

I like them. It's something a little different. Sometimes a plain kind of look can be fun.

The new design seems to me to be rather uninspired.

I'm not happy with it but, it won't stop me from buying. I can make my own cards.

I'm really bummed they're not resealable like the FTC cards or boxes. It's very nice to be able to put them back after I play with them.
Oh I don't play with my figs, I just collect them... I'm much too old to play with action figures. 😊😎

It's eye-catching and has a retro-feel, although it seems more 80s to me than 70s. But I'm not a huge fan of it. I would have rather seen a WGSH-style design for each line.

For my taste personally the card art is too minimalistic and utilitarian.

They look like modern unlicensed bootleg figures/toys you see at the local farmers market --- (between the leather biker wallet guy and the tool guy.

A Super7 Mego box....yeah. That would be sharp.

I would like to have them in a box with some smoking artwork. but, I do like the way FTC has the blister so you can remove the card and reseal it. That's very nice.

I actually quite like the cards. They're catchy, different than most things out there and just slightly "retro". Thankfully they didn't go the route of making them "aged" like Mattel did. What a blunder that was.

                              Agreed.

It works on the Trek figures...gives it a both retro and techie look...reminds me of early 80s Apple days...
